Reserve the Future ("the campaign", "we", "us") is an independent civic advocacy campaign for reservation reform in India. This page explains, plainly, what information we collect through this website and what we do with it.
Data submitted through this site is stored on the campaign's own server infrastructure. If email verification is enabled, a third-party email delivery service (an SMTP provider such as Gmail or a transactional email service) is used solely to deliver that one verification email — it does not retain your other membership details.
We retain membership, petition, and contact records for as long as the campaign is active, so the petition and membership counts remain accurate and verifiable. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 7).
This site uses your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies or third-party ad trackers) to remember things like your chat display name and whether you've already seen the welcome popup, purely to make your experience smoother. This data stays on your device.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by writing to us through the Contact page. We will act on reasonable requests promptly.
If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
