Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

By using reservethefuture.in (the "site"), you agree to these terms. Please read them before signing the petition, joining as a member, or using the chat.

1. What this site is

This is an independent civic advocacy website for the Reserve the Future campaign, which calls for reform — not removal — of India's reservation system. It is not a government website, not a registered political party, and not a substitute for any official petition or legal process.

2. Eligibility

The site is intended for use by Indian citizens and anyone interested in this civic issue. By signing the petition or joining as a member, you confirm that the information you provide (name, city, state, and any optional details) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

3. Membership and petition signatures

  • Membership on this site is symbolic civic participation — it does not enrol you in any registered political party or organisation, and creates no legal obligation on either side.
  • One signature per person is permitted on the petition. Duplicate or clearly fraudulent signatures may be removed without notice.
  • We reserve the right to remove members or signatures that appear to be spam, bot-generated, or submitted in bad faith.

4. Live chat conduct

The public chat is a shared space for supporters of reform. You agree not to use it to:

  • Post hate speech, threats, harassment, or content targeting any caste, religion, or community.
  • Spam, advertise, or flood the chat with repeated messages.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Post anything unlawful under Indian law.

We reserve the right to delete any chat message and to restrict access for repeated violations.

5. Intellectual property

The Reserve the Future name, logo, and original campaign materials on this site belong to the campaign. You're welcome to share petition/campaign content for advocacy purposes with attribution; please don't use the logo or brand to imply an endorsement that hasn't been given.

6. No warranty

This site is provided "as is." While we take reasonable care with the information presented (including the demands and supporting claims), we make no guarantee that every statistic or claim reflects the most current government data, and we encourage you to verify independently before relying on it for any formal purpose.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the campaign evolves. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent via the Contact page.
